Katie Price back in the UK
It was a solemn-faced Katie Price who arrived back at London's Gatwick Airport last night, after a long journey home from the Maldives. Similarly to her estranged husband Peter Andre just days before, Katie chose not to say a word to the waiting press, with one security guard explaining, "She's exhausted and is desperate for a good night's sleep." Passengers who were on the same flight back as Katie say she refused to say a word to anyone who approached her, and instead spent the majority of the journey playing with her kids Junior and Princess. Her friend Julie kept watch, telling anyone who came close, "She's not speaking to anyone and won't be saying a word to you today – not a single word." Meanwhile, Pete reportedly spent yesterday meeting with lawyers. He remains at his manager Claire's house, but pals say he is desperate to see the kids and pick up his stuff from the house.
Tributes flood in for suicide actress
The father of tragic British actress Lucy Gordon spoke out about his daughter yesterday, calling her "the light of our lives". The Spider-Man 3 star was found hanging from the ceiling of her apartment in Paris by her boyfriend, and he is now being questioned as a witness. It has been revealed that Lucy was left "deeply upset" by a friend's recent suicide. At this stage the police are ruling out any involvement by a third party, but a post-mortem will be carried out today to determine the cause of death. Lucy was due to give a live TV interview in Cannes today, and her untimely death has left her colleagues in the film industry "devastated".
Rossy furious at live show axe
Jonathan Ross is said to be "furious" after being told he can no longer record his radio show live. The BBC have decided to minimise the risk of another Sachsgate by having the show recorded 24 hours before it goes out on air. A radio insider revealed, "BBC bosses are fed up chewing their fingernails to the quick every Saturday, worried about what he's going to say." Ross was recently in hot water again over an alleged anti-gay joke he made on air, and insiders say this was the "final straw". Jonathan is said to be unimpressed with the decision, with one pal saying, "He feels he's been bounced into it by people who just want to have a go at him." Do you think Rossy should be allowed to record his show live?
DJ Talent accused of lyric-theft
We haven't even reached the semi-finals yet, but already trouble is brewing for one Britain's Got Talent act. DJ Talent (remember him? How could you not?) has been accused by his former flatmate of nicking the lyrics to a rap and passing them off as his own. Richard John-Jules claims DJ Talent performed the rap once on The Friday Night Project, and says if he uses it again on Britain's Got Talent then he will sue. The gold-toothed rapper himself didn't seem too bothered about the claim, saying, "They are my lyrics. I'm an international superstar celebrity. Why would I need to steal lyrics?" Hmm. Words fail us. Are you looking forward to this weekend's Britain's Got Talent?
