Katie Price and Dane Bowers – the plot thickens
It has emerged today that Dane Bowers actually separated from his wife just two days before Katie and Peter announced their split. The former Another Level singer was arrested outside his ex-lovers house this week on suspicion of drink-driving, and went on to give police Katie's details as his alibi. Sources say Dane and Katie hadn't seen each other since their split years ago, but Dane got back in touch after he heard Pete had walked out. Dane's estranged wife Chrissy said yesterday, "He [Dane] is no longer in the marital home. I don't have anything to say about Kate and Dane, except each to their own." Meanwhile, Pete is said to be "furious" that Katie invited Dane and friends over to house for a party when the kids were upstairs in bed. She had earlier refused to let them stay with Pete overnight. Oh dear...
Fired Apprentice Howard: "I am mortified and gutted"
Howard Ebison became the latest casualty of the boardroom last night after Sir Alan branded him a "steady Eddie". The blue-eyed businessman, who was arguably the nicest candidate of the series, admits he had no idea he was about to be fired, having convinced himself teammate Lorraine would be up for the chop. "I was the wrong person to go," he complains. "Lorraine is so unpredictable. She's inconsistent and doesn't know how to communicate properly." We don't know about you, but we think Sir Alan's sidekick Nick must have a soft spot for Lorraine. He definitely saved her bacon last night by telling Sir Alan she is "so often right". Howard admits that he may have taken the process too seriously. He now plans to become a teacher – bless. Do you think the right person got the boot last night?
Su-Bo has a temper tantrum
The pressure of fame is clearly getting to poor Susan Boyle. Yesterday she stunned guests at her hotel in Wembley by flying into a rage for the second time (the first being when Piers praised Shaheen). Two strangers were reportedly trying to wind up the singer, and she finally snapped, shouting, "How f***ing dare you? You can't f***ing talk to me like that!" Su-Bo then stormed outside into the hotel car park, where she was calmed down by family and a policeman. One onlooker said afterwards, "It took her a long time to calm down. She was in a terrible rage." The policeman gently explained to Su-Bo that she must get used to this sort of thing, but the poor thing was distraught and kept sobbing. We can't even begin to imagine how it must feel to be in her shoes, and we hope people do back off a bit before they ruin her chances in this Saturday's final.
Lily gets a part in Neighbours!
Lily Allen has bagged a cameo part in Aussie soap Neighbours! The outspoken singer will visit Ramsay Street in Melbourne next month, where she's also performing a sell-out gig. She's even in discussions to sing one of her hits during the episode, in which she will play herself. Lily will feature in a scene with Matt Werkmeister, who plays Zeke, and he's very excited. "I'm freaking out!" he says "I haven't been this excited for...I don't know how long...I'll be starstruck for sure, but I'll try my hardest to stay professional. I'll definitely want to get Lily's autograph, but will probably be too scared to ask her, so I'll be asking someone else to get it for me." We can't wait!
What's really going on?
