Apprentice Philip like a "puppy dog" with Kate
Latest Apprentice loser Philip Taylor admitted last night that his relationship with fellow candidate Kate could have caused him to get fired. "I was completely caught up with it," he admitted, "I was like a puppy dog – I admit that I blew it." Philip still believes he was the best person for the job, and says Sir Alan "made a mistake" by firing him. Astonishingly, he also stands by his Pants Man creation, saying, "It was a sensation. Everybody is talking about it!" Um, we're all talking about it because it was so awful. However, we did feel a little sorry for Philip last night. Especially when Lorraine was just being plain scary. And is it just us, or was blabbing to Sir Alan about Phil and Kate's "friendship" a bit of a sly move on her part? Do you think the right person went last night?
BB will definitely be axed, claims Davina
Big Brother host Davina McCall has confirmed that she believes the show only has two series left, predicting it will be axed in 2010. Davina, who will return as the show's host and the host of Big Brother's Big Mouth on 4 June, said yesterday, "It's definitely only got two years left." Despite last year's viewing figures being the lowest yet (we blame Mario and his pants for that), Davina is still the show's number-one fan, saying, "It's become an institution – the summer is all about Big Brother, just like winter is all about The X Factor." It has also been revealed that the show will not be streamed live this year. Damn! How will we spy on the housemates now? Let's just hope this year's contestants do the show proud. Are you looking forward to Big Brother?
Harry Potter makes friends with tranny
Bizarre friendship of the day alert – Daniel Radcliffe AKA Harry Potter is best of pals with a, er, drag queen. Dan has been enjoying dinners and nights out with a transvestite called Our Lady J, a blonde drag queen from New York who makes a living doing impressions of Alanis Morissette and Dolly Parton. Friends say that Daniel, who is "fascinated by drag queen culture" has become "close" to the performer, who met Dan when they were both appearing on Broadway, with the duo spotted "arm in arm" at a party late last year. Can we look forward to seeing Daniel in drag? Could be interesting...
Poor old Philip...
