Katie heads off on single girls' holiday:
Katie Price jetted over to Ibiza for a girls' holiday yesterday, telling pals that she's determined to let her hair down and have some fun. Katie and eight friends reportedly cracked open the bubbly straight after boarding an early morning EasyJet flight to the Spanish island, but Katie definitely wasn't in the mood for meeting fans. An EasyJet source later said, "Katie did fly with us to Ibiza, and unfortunately she was one of the grumpiest celebrities we've ever dealt with." Katie's pals were quick to stick up for their famous friend however, with one saying, "She feels absolutely drained. She's had an emotionally knackering five weeks and wants to let her hair down." Pete, meanwhile, also flew out of the UK yesterday, heading to his Cyprus home with Harvey, Junior and Princess in tow to have 10 days in the sun together.

Simon: 'I did not exploit Su-Bo'
Simon Cowell has spoken out to defend himself over claims he "exploited" Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle. The judge says he gave the West Lothian singer plenty of chances to quit the show, saying, "No one ever put a gun to her head and said you've got to enter the show." Simon says he sat down with Su-Bo in the days before the final and told her she could bow out if it was all getting to much. "She looked me in the eye and said, 'No, I want to give it a go'," explains Simon. However, the critical judge did admit he regretted making 11-year-old breakdancer Aidan Davis cry in the final, saying sheepishly, "I felt really bad. I thought I went too far." Susan Boyle made a triumphant return to the live stage on Monday, receiving a standing ovation from fans in her native Scotland.

Suzanne Shaw gets hitched to JK
Congratulations are in order for Suzanne Shaw – the Dancing On Ice champ mas married her long-term boyfriend Jason King (JK) at a seaside ceremony in Dorset. The couple kept the wedding intimate, with only their closest friends and family invited. Suzanne's former Hear'Say bandmates Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster were thought to be among the guests, but Myleene missed out because she's filming I'm A Celeb... over in Costa Rica. Fourth Hear'Say member Kym Marsh wasn't invited because, as Suzanne explained previously, the pair have not spoken for years. It was only four years ago that Suzanne was left heartbroken after her ex-fiance Darren Day walked out on her and their four-month-old son, saying he "didn't want family". We're very pleased she's found happiness with JK. Congrats guys!

Ex-BB star in court over knife threat
Big Brother's most famous bully Alexandra De Gale was in court yesterday, after threatening two women with a knife. The stroppy former housemate, who was booted off the show last year after making threats towards other housemates, brandished a knife at the pair after they poked fun at her, saying things like "pow, pow, pow" and "Are you back in your house now?" Alexandra saw red and fetched a knife from her house in her rage. One of the women managed to push Alexandra over and also nicked her phone. She was later cautioned by police. Alexandra has denied charges of possessing an offensive weapon. The trial continues...
