Katie Price brands upset Pete a "hypocrite":
Katie Price is today said to be "incandescent" with rage at Peter, after her estranged husband admitted he was "deeply disappointed" about her revelations in the Piers Morgan interview. Pete had allegedly wanted the intimate details of Katie's recent miscarriage kept quiet, but she doesn't think he has any right to complain. The model is alleged to have told a friend, "Peter seems to forget he demanded a divorce 12 days after I had a miscarriage. For him to cast himself as innocent and upset in all of this is hypocritical." Meanwhile, Piers Morgan has praised Katie for taking part in the interview with him, saying yesterday, "She was feisty, fiery, emotional, contrite and startlingly honest. Whether you love her or hate her, she has been through a hell of a difficult few weeks." Katie received a fee for taking part in the interview, but sources close to her say she donated the whole sum to charity.
Michael Jackson had gay lovers, new book claims
The controversy and speculation surrounding Michael Jackson is showing no signs of abating, with new claims emerging today that the King of Pop had a number of gay affairs during his life. Author Ian Halperin is claiming he's talked to loads of people who were very close to Jacko, and that they were all open about the late star's sexuality. In addition to these reports, yesterday Jacko's sister La Toya confessed she believes her brother was murdered. " Her claims are backed by the rest of the family, and all say they will not rest until Jacko's "puppet masters" are behind bars. There are also some slightly scary rumours that the star's dad Joe Jackson wants his late son's three children to become the "Jackson Three" and embark on a world tour. Please GOD let this not come true!
Strictly Come Dancing backlash continues
Former Strictly competitor Rachel Stevens has become the latest celebrity to come out in support of axed judge Arlene Phillips. Rachel, who came second in last year's show, said the decision to replace Arlene was a "really bad" one, and that the whole thing was "horrible". Not only this, but the professional dancers working on the hit BBC show are also said to have branded the move an "absolute farce". One insider revealed yesterday, "Publicly, they will endorse Alesha. Privately, they are fuming that someone who couldn't even dance until she came on the show will sit in judgment on them." The responses from fans of the show have varied from disgust to excitement, but we'll have to wait until the series starts to see how Alesha gets on. She must be under a great amount of pressure now, though...
'Enders actress expecting twins!
EastEnders actress Jo Joyner is pregnant – with twins! Jo – who plays Tanya Branning in the BBC soap – and her husband Neil Madden are "absolutely delighted" at the prospect of becoming parents at the end of the year. Jo has already got a visible bump (not bum. Hee hee) so EastEnders script-writers will have their work cut out trying to work her pregnancy into the show. A source said, "Everyone is thrilled for Jo. Because it's twins, she's already got a bit of a bump so viewers can expect lots of big bags and cushions in her scenes over the coming months." Congratulations, Jo!
