Fans outrage over Jacko memorial tickets:
Michael Jackson fans were left outraged last night after ticket touts swooped in and snapped up tickets to the pop star's upcoming memorial concert. Tickets to the event, which were allocated through a lottery system, appeared for sale on ebay just minutes after the tickets were made available, causing many disappointed fans further frustration. Authorities in LA are said to be concerned that over 700,000 people are reportedly going to head to tomorrow night's event at the Staples Center even if they don't have tickets. Flights from the UK to LA are rapidly filling up, and fans are doing anything they can to get to LA in time. The concert will be shown live across a range of TV channels, including BBC News 24, and will include performances from stars such as Diana Ross and Justin Timberlake. Will you be tuning in?

Katie Price to launch charity
Katie Price is launching her own charity, it was reported this weekend. The mum-of-three is putting her name to a new foundation that will help disabled children enjoy a better life, drawing on her own experience as mum to part-blind son Harvey. One pal explained, "Harvey’s condition has caused her years of pain and she understands the struggle parents go through with a disabled child. She wants to help other parents like her who are less fortunate." Well, this is certainly a better way to spend her time than largin' it up in Ibiza...

Paris Hilton's BBF contestant dies suddenly
One of the British contestants in ITV2 show Paris Hilton's British Best Friend has died suddenly. Kat McKenzie, who was a runner-up on the reality show earlier this year, died suddenly this weekend. She was only 25. The cause of death is still unclear, but police say they aren't treating it as suspicious. Last night Paris Hilton paid tribute to the young dancer, saying she was "deeply saddened" and that Kat "will be missed".

Harry Potter star in swine flu scare
Harry Potter star Rupert Grint went back to work today after suffering from a bout of swine flu. The 20-year-old actor, who plays Harry's best pal Ron Weasley in the hit films, only contracted a mild strain of the bug, and doctors have now said he is no longer contagious. It must be a relief for Rupert, as the latest film gets it's big premiere in Leicester Square tomorrow night and it looks set to be a night not to miss.
