Jacko wanted Diana Ross to care for his kids:
A will that Michael Jackson made back in 2002 was filed yesterday, and revealed that the star named Diana Ross as the person to care for his children – but only if his mother was not able. Michael was close to Diana Ross from a very early age, and sources say he "idolised" her. The will states, "If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children." The news came as it became clear Michael Jackson will not be laid to rest at his Neverland Ranch after all. Problems with getting permission means the delay could run into weeks, and the family understandably want the funeral to happen as soon as possible. It is thought Jacko will now be buried next to his grandmother in LA's Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. The family have promised that the fans will still have a chance to pay their final respects.

Ronaldo attacks teenage fan
A 17-year-old female fan last night claimed that footie star Cristiano Ronaldo "attacked" her while she sat in her car. The incident, which happened in Lisbon, Portugal, saw Ronaldo kick in one of the girl's car windows. She claims he lost his temper after realising he was being filmed, stopped his car and headed straight for her. The smashed glass went everywhere, and the terrified girl called the police. Ronaldo later apologised for his actions in a statement, claiming he was convinced the girl was a snapper who was "stalking" him. "This persecution caused my mother to be so disturbed and upset That I had to try to convince them to leave us in peace," he explained. "When my mother is involved it is very difficult." Is it just us, or is kicking someone's car window in ever so slightly more disturbing and upsetting than being filmed? You tell us...

Actress Mollie Sugden dies, aged 86
The much-loved British comedy actress Mollie Sugden died yesterday after a long illness. She was 86. Mollie was best known for her role as the battleaxe Mrs Slocombe in classic sitcom Are You Being Served, which also starred late EastEnders actress Wendy Richard. Mollie has also appeared in Coronation Street and, more recently, a sketch in the hit comedy show Little Britain. The actress was said to have been "going downhill" ever since the death of her beloved husband nine years ago. She died in hospital in Guildford, late yesterday.

Steve Jones splits from Heroes' Hayden
After enjoying each other's company on a number of luxury yachts in Cannes a few months back, Steve Jones and Hayden Panettiere have decided to go their separate ways. It was the Heroes hottie who broke the news, saying yesterday, "I'm single and mingling. Steve lives in London and the distance is a bit too much. I'm not dating anyone specifically and I'm not looking for houses with anyone." That's us told. Hayden did admit she'd had some "great experiences" in Cannes, but hinted that it was just a bit of "fun". Oh Steve, looks as if you might have met your match with this one...
