Katie may regret raunchy snaps:
Katie Price and her new man Alex Reid are making no secret of the fact that they're smitten with each other, but the latest series of pictures of the cavorting couple could count against Katie in court. The new snaps, taken at the couple's holiday villa in Spain, show a topless Katie straddling and caressing her cage-boxer lover, and it's thought Pete may use the snaps as ammunition in the upcoming custody battle. It's been hinted that Katie and Alex had been texting each other for over a year before she split from Peter, and they do seem to have got very close very quickly.  One friend said, "Peter will be furious. If he decides to attack Katie in court in any future custody battle, then these are the kind of images that could be very damaging to her cause." Strictly Karen will stay on show
Axed Strictly dancer Karen Hardy last night said she will be staying on the hit BBC show after all, just not in the same role she had before. It was revealed yesterday that Karen, who, at 39, is the oldest female professional dancer on the show, was being replaced by a younger woman. The BBC have since denied the replacement has anything at all to do with Karen's age, and the dancer herself says, "I'm discussing new ways I can be involved in the show this year." After all the hoo-ha over Arlene Phillips sacking, we think the Beeb would be seriously foolish to get embroiled in yet another ageism row on the very same show, don't you?

Jack Tweed slams Jackiey's claims
Jack Tweed has hit back at his mother-in-law Jackiey Budden after she claimed to have been in contact with Jade through a psychic. Jackiey yesterday said that Jade believed marrying Jack was her "biggest mistake", but now Jack says Jackiey did not care about Jade's sons Bobby and Freddie, saying, "Jackiey sees a lot of things in her head. She has said some pretty nasty things about me, as though she is Mrs Perfect – when she has swanned off to Tenerife and left her grandsons here. She is simply after money." Miaow.

Simon splashes out in style
Simon Cowell has spent a whopping £50,000 of his own money on transforming the top floor of the X Factor studios into his own private "haven of calm". Reports today suggest that Simon has hired a team of designers to refit it in time for the live shows, and will be painted all in white and kitted out with plasma TVs, a top-of-the-range sound system and a relaxation room. The areas of Fountain studios in north London used to be for contestants, but will now be a chill-out area for the multi-millionaire music mogul. A show insider revealed, "It will be designed like a sanctuary. The aim will be so he can watch the dress rehearsals in peace. It will be divided into sections so he has a relaxation room for himself and his guests, a shower suite, vanity area and walk-in wardrobe." And because the new format will see live shows on a Saturday and a Sunday, the source says he wants to make sure he has a comfortable environment to "relax and unwind in." It's aright for some, eh?
