Patrick Swayze dies of cancer aged 57:
Actor Patrick Swayze sadly lost his 20-month battle against cancer last night, dying peacefully and surrounded by his family. The star had been suffering from terminal pancreatic cancer for some time. He was just 57. Last night, his publicist Annett Wolf released a statement saying, "Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months." Despite his illness, over the past few months Patrick worked on TV drama The Beast, and also wrote an autobiography with his wife Lisa Niemi. He had said of his condition, "I want to last until they find a cure, which means I'd better get a fire under it." He had also refused to take painkillers as the disease worsened, claiming that it would affect his acting, and "take the edge off" his performance. Katie Price still wants Peter Andre back
Katie Price yesterday denied she had sent any text messages to her estranged husband Peter Andre asking him to give her another chance, but the Behind Closed Doors singer tells a different story. Peter is claiming that he received messages from Katie just a few days before their divorce was due to be made official, but he chose not to respond. After everything that's happened, Pete is adamant that he would "never" get back with Katie. The claims come as new reports hint Katie's new man Alex Reid was introduced to her after she asked her team to find her a new boyfriend, and that the whole relationship is a total sham. Katie played down the rumours when she appeared on Live From Studio Five yesterday evening, choosing instead to hint that it was Peter's jealousy that split them up.

Posh: "My pout is natural"
Victoria Beckham has claimed in a new interview that her famous pout is 100 per cent natural, telling host Whoopi Goldberg on US show The View that "it's just the way my face falls". Posh also admitted she's fed up of people referring to her as the "funny" one in he marriage, saying, "Everybody says, 'David's so handsome and she's so funny' – I'm sick of being the funny one!" However, she allowed that it wasn't too upsetting, especially as she still gets to go home with Becks every night. "I really feel that with David I've met my soulmate. He's a really amazing father and a really great husband as well. I still feel sexy – I go to bed with David Beckham every night!" We're not jealous at all...

Whitney Houston discusses her crack addiction
Singer Whitney Houston did a frank and honest interview with Oprah Winfrey last week, where she openly discussed her terrifying former addiction to crack cocaine. "After The Bodyguard it started getting heavy," she confessed. "We were lacing our marijuana with base. We would buy a kilo." Whitney says she and ex-husband Bobby Brown would sit, sometimes for a week at a time, just watching TV and smoking. Whitney told Oprah that she completely forgot about music at that time, saying, "I'd totally forgotten about that life. I had so much money by that time." She also opened up about how her marriage became violent, telling Oprah, "He [Bobby Brown] spat on me, and he had such a hate in his eyes. I knew something was going to blow." It was Whitney's mum who finally intervened, turning up at Whitney's home with armed police. We're so glad she's got her career back on track.
