Strictly's Brian Fortuna has admitted that he does have the hots for celeb dance partner Ali Bastian, but that he's not having any luck in his attempts to woo her. The pair have been spotted out together a number of times since their training began, and Ali is also thought to have recently split from her boyfriend. At the Inside Soap Awards earlier this week, Brian admitted, "I've been asking Ali out for three weeks and she keeps shooting me down. Maybe one day she'll accept..." Ali herself refused to give anything away, only admitting shyly, "Brian's taught me so much and he is inspirational. I look forward to coming into training every day." The BBC have denied there's anything between the pair but friendship, but what with Ali being so good on the show, it looks like Brian's going to have a lot more time to try his luck.
Sugababes were "jealous" of Keisha
Keisha Buchanan was axed from the Sugababes because the other girls were jealous of her, a new source has claimed today. Apparently Keisha was often going off to meet up with Kylie Minogue's writers on her own, and the source claims that many industry insiders won't take the band seriously now Keisha has gone. In addition to this, it's being rumoured that Jay-Z has not only signed up the existing Sugababes to his US label, but that he's also interested in offering Keisha a solo deal as well. Look like we could have an almighty chart battle on our hands before we know it. Goody goody!
Stress sends Gok Wan to hospital
Gok Wan has been recovering in hospital this week after a stomach ulcer left him in crippling agony. The stylist and TV presenter has been forced to cancel work commitments due to his condition, which friends say was brought on by his stressful and hectic lifestyle. "Gok is a workaholic," says one pal. "He had been feeling ill and tried to put it off because he had so many work commitments and hates letting people down." Last night the star's spokesman said in a statement, "Doctors think the ulcer could be stress-related and have advised a period of rest." Poor Gok. Get well soon!
Happy baby news for Mrs Owen
There's only a few weeks to wait until Coleen and Wayne Rooney welcome their first child, and today another WAG has announced she's expecting a bay too. Michael Owen's wife Louise is pregnant with the couple's fourth child, and the footie ace has told pals he's "absolutely delighted" with the news. The couple already have two daughters and a son, and the new baby is due in March. Congratulations guys!
