Dwight Yorke has already made it clear that he's no big fan of Peter Andre, even admitting that he felt like "throttling him" over his request to adopt Harvey. Well, now the former footballer and ex of Katie Price has elaborated in a new interview, and had another little rant about Pete. Talking to Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 5 live this afternoon, Dwight said of Peter Andre, "To stand there and say he's going to adopt my kid, I thought that was very disrespectful. This guy [Andre] was accusing me of not being a great dad when he knows I was trying – so I have to tell him in no uncertain terms. I don’t dislike the guy, marrying my-ex, whatever, I'm happy for him, my main concern is my kid so how could he stand there and say he wants to adopt my kid?" Despite Katie's protestations that she's given Dwight every opportunity to be a part of Harvey's life, he still maintains it hasn't been easy for him. "Of course, like any dad, it's my kid, I would like to play an integral part in his upbringing, of course," he told Simon Mayo. "I love my kid, but wasn't given the opportunity to really bring him up in the manner I would like to bring him up in. I haven't seen him in a year. I'm not interested in Pete and Kate. In fact, I don’t know what's going on in their life at this point in time." Really? Does he not read any newspapers? Dwight says he's only chosen to speak about the situation now because "enough is enough", adding, "There's a misconception out there about me being a bad dad. For seven years I've had to take it on the chin." We wonder why he's telling Simon Mayo all about it and not Katie hersel thenf? Surely that would be the best idea, Dwight?
