Lisa Niemi has spoken out for the first time about how she's coping following the death of her husband Patrick Swayze, and it's really heartbreaking stuff. Appearing as a guest speaker at the 2009 California Women’s Conference, Lisa admitted to the audience, "My regret is that I didn't tell him I loved him enough. I said it plenty, quite a few, but...I am so grateful for what I had." Lisa admitted that the pain she's feeling is "an animal all of it's own", and that having to go on without Patrick is a "brutal thing". Lisa says her friends have been a great support to her, but that nothing could have prepared her for what it would feel like to lose Patrick after 34 years together. "Part of me believes that I will see him again," she smiled. "And I'm just going to have to go on until then."
