Katie Price denies wanting to dump Alex:
Katie Price has today denied rumours that she's on the verge of dumping her boyfriend Alex Reid, saying bluntly, "We're still very much together." The couple have not been pictured together for four days, and friends say the whole cross-dressing revelation has put a strain on their relationship. Alex has continued to deny the claims that he likes to dress up as a woman, but Katie's camp say it's true – and it's even being reported that Katie herself showed pictures of Alex dressed up to guests at Simon Cowell's 50th birthday party. In a further twist, a locksmith was seen arriving at Katie's home yesterday, fuelling rumours that she's kicking Alex out and changing the locks. One of Katie's friends has said that the reality star does want to break up with Alex, but she's scared to be on her own.

Brucie forced to admit Anton was in the wrong
Bruce Forsyth was last night forced to admit that Anton Du Beke was in the wrong for calling his Strictly Come Dancing partner Laila Rouass a "P***", just hours after he urged people to have a sense of humour about the whole thing. The BBC bosses were allegedly furious when Brucie tried to play down the incident, and last night he hastily issued a further statement, saying, "What Anton said to Laila was wrong and he apologised. Nor do I excuse or condone the use of such language. The use of racially offensive language is never either funny or acceptable." However, Brucie was still keen to point out that what Anton said was certainly not meant in a nasty way, explaining, "There is a major difference between this and racist comments which are malicious in intent, and whilst we live in a world of extraordinary political correctness, we should keep things in perspective."

The Hoff in rehab after punching doctor
David Hasselhoff has been taken to a rehab centre after he accidentally punched a doctor following a booze bender. The former Baywatch star had allegedly been drinking for days at his London hotel when the incident happened, and lashed out after he was confronted by the concerned doctor. The drinking binge apparently started at Simon Cowell's big birthday bash, where David had to be escorted out through a back door, and continued over the following few days. One source said of the star, "David is very hard to handle when he drinks, often very emotional and aggressive." A guest at the hotel also reported seeing David drunk at the bar, saying, "He was abusing all the staff, shouting at everyone." The actor spent two days in hospital before being discharged yesterday.

Alexandra Burke wants a new man
Alexandra Burke has admitted she's on the hunt for a new man, saying she's ready to fall in love. The X Factor winner broke up with her former boyfriend just before the live shows started last year, and says she had to because he was "insecure". "I have no time for that," she explains. "And he was a bit of a nutcase." Alexandra says she's always been a sucker for bad boys, but is now looking for someone a bit more serious. "I am looking for a boyfriend," she says.
