Celeb guests banned from The X Factor
Going along to watch an X Factor live show is very exciting for two reasons. Not only to you get to see the contestants up close, but there's always an abundance of celebrity fans in the audience to spot. However, that won't be the case this year. Simon Cowell has decided to limit the number of tickets given away free to celebs, because he thinks the atmosphere in the studio is better when more members of the public are present. In the past the judges and hosts would get around 30 free tickets each, but now this has been limited to a handful. A statement issued last night explained, "On Simon's wishes, to create the right atmosphere the studio is going to be full of more 'general public' audience and so people's allocations have had to be adjusted accordingly." Sounds fair enough to us. Now if there's any tickets going spare...
Katie and Peter's LA pad up for sale
The LA mansion where Katie Price and Peter Andre stayed during their stint in America has been put on the market – for a whopping £12million. The couple, who recorded their reality show Katie & Peter The Next Chapter: Stateside while staying at the plush house, spent the majority of their time in the property fighting, but that hasn't stopped it being sold as a "bit of reality TV history". Yep, seriously. As if that's going to lure any buyers. Would YOU want to live somewhere Katie and Peter had?
Lily Allen's embarrassing poo story
Has Lily Allen got no shame whatsoever? The singer has admitted in a new chat that she once had really bad runs during a show, and at one stage had to literally run off to do a poo. Talking to Q magazine, Lily laughed, "I came down with diarrhoea, but I still went on." Lily said the Seattle crowd were chanting her name while she was squatting on the bog, explaining, "I didn't feel I could send someone out and say, 'Will you lot shut up, she's having a crap,' but that's the truth." Lovely. Maybe this is why Lily's threatening to turn her back on performing for good?
JLS scoop two MOBOS – yay!
