Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy are all set to sing at Stephen Gately’s funeral tomorrow. The Boyzone stars have yet to decide what they will perform at the service, which is set to be held at St Laurence O’Toole church in Dublin. A host of celebrities and thousands of fans are thought to be joining Stephen’s friends and family to say goodbye to the singer.

It’s been revealed that the man who punched Leona Lewis once tried out for The X Factor – but was rejected in the initial stages. 29 year-old Peter Kowalczyk’s father revealed: “He went along and queued for The X Factor. How far he got with it? Nowhere.” Kowalczyk was last night sectioned under the mental health act following the unprovoked attack.
Gary Barlow mourns the loss of his father
Gary Barlow is mourning the loss of his father Colin, who died last night. The star cancelled a performance at the launch of the BBC’s Children In Need so he could rush home and be with his family. It’s thought the 62 year-old suffered a heart attack, and Gary is said to be “devastated”. Our thoughts are with him.
X Factor creates ‘I Love Simon’ banners
It’s been revealed that The X Factor bosses are handing out banners bearing the words ‘I love Simon’ to audience members at the live shows. As if his ego wasn’t big enough, production staff have been creating the banners and giving them to people to hold up during the show. A show insider said: The runners on the show make the banners. We can’t have loads of people bringing banners down, they’re just too bulky.” What a rubbish excuse.
