Leona Lewis attack: the latest
Yesterday we bought the news that Leona Lewis was attacked during the launch of her book launch Dreams in central London, and now more details of the incident have emerged. It turns out the 6ft 5 man – who viciously hit Leona on the head – had queued for five hours meet the star before he struck. The singer cried "Oh my God" as the man lunged at her, and she was immediately lead away by her security team. Her spokesman has now released a statement about the incident, saying "Leona is obviously shocked after yesterday but is OK, she would like us to convey her thanks to you all for your kind messages and your support".
 
Rob’s back for Christmas
Robbie Williams is continuing his comeback, by appearing on Ant and Dec’s Christmas show, which is said to be the biggest show of the festive season. The 35 year-old will join the Geordie duo for the entertainment extravaganza, in which they’re hoping to echo the old-school style of Morecambe and Wise. It’s not yet known that part Robbie will play, but a spokesman says: "They have already been discussing ideas together. It is nothing to do with Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec's previous show. This is a brand new show. They will be filming it when they get back from the Australian jungle in December after presenting the next series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here."
 
Stephen Gately to be buried on Saturday
Stephen Gately will be buried this Saturday, and his Boyzone band mates are planning to spend the previous night in the church with his body. Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy will all sleep in the church because they say Stephen “didn’t like to be alone”. A source close to the band said: “It proves how close they were. Those lads would do anything for Stephen and they know he would not want to be there on his own.”
