But, according to the no-doubt very clever publication, celebrity hip-wiggler Shakira is one of the Most Important People of 2010. She's only just been beaten by President Barack Obama – get her! Since when did having a flexible booty and a good singing voice equal such high acclaim, eh? Well, it turns out that Shakira is actually being hailed for the work she's done with charity Barefoot, which focuses on the importance of education. Since being mentioned in the high-brow mag, Shakira has even been invited to speak about her work at Oxford University, and she's feeling very happy about it all. "I was quite surprised and humbled to see myself alongside the likes of individuals such as President Obama," she admits. "It is something I could have never imagined. I am so heartened and glad that such importance is being placed on the topic of education." Go Shakira, you clever little She Wolf, you.
