Mark Owen ties the knot in Scotland:
Massive congratulations are the first order of the day today, because Mark Owen got married yesterday! The Take That star wed his long-term love Emma Ferguson in a church in the Scottish Highlands with his band mates at his side. Fans gathered outside the church and Mark waved as he entered, but the couple chose not to pose as husband and wife prompting – rather unfairly – boos from the waiting crowd. Emma kept her husband-to-be waiting for half an hour before arriving at the candlelit ceremony looking absolutely beautiful, and the wedding party then went on to a reception where guests including Robbie Williams were expected. We think they both looked gorgeous. Congratulations, guys!
Corrie couple split over constant rows
Cute Corrie couple Tina O'Brien and Ryan Thomas split after a series of bust-ups, it was claimed today. The pair, who have a one-year-old daughter Scarlett, were together for six years, and had tried their best to make it work for the sake of their baby. One source said, "Ryan decided to end things after the recent rows, which were getting worse. Tina was very upset, but not that surprised." The young couple are still very much on speaking terms and are at the moment sharing custody of baby Scarlett. We're sad about this, as they were an adorable couple.
Shock as Lucie gets the boot from The X Factor
Lucie Jones was stunned to find herself booted off The X Factor last night, after she ended up in the bottom two with twins John and Edward. After deliberating for several minutes, Simon Cowell decided to let the public vote decide, and Lucie was told she was going home. Clearly shocked but totally gracious in her defeat, Lucie said she'd had an "amazing experience" and that she believed John and Edward should be allowed to stay. We'll discuss the matter of Simon's decision in the next post, but for now, tell us if YOU think Lucie was the right act to go. Over on Strictly, Craig Kelly became the eighth celebrity to be voted off after ending up in the bottom two with Ricky Groves. Craig said afterwards that the experience had been "incredible". Do you think he was the right choice to go?
Katie Price is NOT going back on I'm A Celeb...
I'm A Celeb... producers last night denied the rumours that Katie Price is heading back to the jungle when the show starts next week, but it's looking likely that someone just as feisty will take her place. Former Mis-Teeq singer Sabrina Washington is the latest celeb rumoured to be taking part, and she's certainly bound to be a talking point of the show. Sabrina is famously blunt when it comes to saying what she thinks, and once even suggested that her former band mate Alesha Dixon to stick to MC-ing, because her singing voice wasn't up to scratch. Ooer. Other celebs in the frame include Samantha Fox (also fiery), Vinnie Jones and Robert Kazinsky. We can't wait!
