Katie Price dumps Alex Reid live on TV. Ouch!
Katie Price shocked the nation last night when she revealed live on air that she'd split up with boyfriend Alex Reid. The reality star dropped the bombshell during her exit interview with Ant and Dec on I'm A Celeb..., telling them simply, "I think it's best I'm on my own. I don't want a relationship." It had been reported that Alex was flying over to greet Katie and propose to her, and the rumour is that when Katie heard the news from her friend Michelle Heaton, she panicked. Ant and Dec were clearly as shocked as we all were by the news, but Katie was her usual matter-of-fact self, adding, "I hope we can remain friends." Katie also said in the interview that she has "closure" over Peter Andre, but admitted it was hard being back where their romance had all begun. Lucy Benjamin also left the jungle last night after becoming the first celeb to be voted out. She didn't look too sad to be leaving, did she?
Will Jedward replace Katie in the jungle?
X Factor twins John and Edward are rumoured to have been offered £50,000 each to replace Katie Price in the I'm A Celeb... jungle. Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh have both reportedly given the idea their thumbs up, and now show bosses are doing their best to iron out a quick deal. If the twins do agree, then they could be out in the jungle by this coming weekend. However, I'm A Celeb... isn't the only offer the boys have had since getting the boot on Sunday. Yesterday Phillip Schofield did his best to persuade Jedward to sign up for the next series of Dancing On Ice, which kicks off in the New Year. Posh voted most unhealthy role model
Victoria Beckham has been voted the most unhealthy role model in the past 50 years by fitness experts. The survey was done by over 50 experts, including personal trainer Ged Musto who said of the star, "I think she has taken calorie restriction to new extremes. Her size is achieved by lack of nutrients and too much exercising. She is a poor role model." Kylie was named the top role model in the survey, and was hailed for her "naturally slim" figure and glowing skin. VB has always claimed she eats well, but admits to avoiding bad foods. Bush Tucker Trials turned into new show
The stomach-churning I'm A Celeb... Bush Tucker trials are set to be turned into a new entertainment show, it has been revealed. Watching celebs chomp on flies, testicles and other unmentionables is one of the most popular features of the hit ITV show, and so the idea is being used in new programme The Door. Competing celebs will have to take part in a number of different challenges behind doors, which will include things such as walking over broken glass and eating bugs. It is thought The Door will become a big Saturday-night hit for ITV1. Is it something you'd tune into every week?
