Robbie wants to be an X Factor judge!
Robbie Williams has admitted for the first time that he'd love to become a judge on The X Factor, saying, "X Factor has been the centre of the universe for the last two months. Me and the missus have been watching it every Saturday and Sunday and voting and getting excited and upset when our favourites go." When asked during an interview on GMTV if he'd be willing to join the judges next year, Robbie grinned and said, "I'd like to confirm that a goer," before adding, "No... I'm alright for the time being." Robbie is the latest in a growing list of contenders being rumoured to join Simon, Cheryl and co next year, which include Kelly Rowland, Eminem and even Lily Allen. We think Robbie would make an excellent addition to the show, but knowing Rob he'd totally fall for all the contestants and be far too nice to give them any criticism. Plus, we want him to be free to do a tour! Do you like the idea of Robbie becoming an X Factor judge?
Simon and Cheryl slam "bullying" RATM campaign
Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole have both blasted the campaign to get Rage Against The Machine to Number One ahead of Joe McElderry, with Simon even describing the whole thing as bullying. Speaking from his holiday home out in Barbados, Simon ranted, "All these musical snobs have ganged up against Joe. If you take me out of the equation, you have a teenager with his first single being attacked by a huge hate mob on Facebook. It almost feels like a little kid being bullied." Cheryl echoed his rage, adding in a separate interview, "I cannot bear to see him [Joe] lose to a mean campaign. If that song, or should I say campaign, by an American group is our Christmas Number One I'll be gutted for him and our charts." Yesterday's late figures showed the RATM was still ahead of Joe, but the gap is closing.
Stacey is worried we'll all forget her
Stacey Solomon has admitted she's worried people will forget who she is because she only came third in The X Factor. Talking about her future plans, Stacey admitted, "In a year, I'd like to be singing somewhere like the V Festival. But I'm worried I'll get forgotten. You start thinking, 'I haven't won - what's going to happen?'" However, Stacey did then go on to say she realised it was all about putting in some hard work, saying, "If you want something bad enough you can do well. Good things happen to good people." We think Stacey's got nothing to worry about, as long as she gets some decent tunes under her belt. What do you think?
Stephen Fry and McFly most influential on Twitter
A new survey has named Stephen Fry as the second most influential person on Twitter, with Russell Brand and two members of McFly not far behind. Stephen, who has a whopping 1.1million followers of the social networking site, was narrowly beaten by businessman and founder of Mashable, Pete Cashmore, and comedian Russell Brand came in third place. Fourth most influential was revealed to be Dougie Poynter from McFly, with his fellow bandmate Tom Fletcher coming in fourth. This is a bit weird, because Tom actually updates probably 100 times more than Dougie, but never mind. Other celebs in the top ten included Eddie Izzard, Jonathan Ross and Peter Andre. Do you follow any or all of these celebs on Twitter, and who would YOU say is the best Tweeter (after heatworld, obvs)?
