Peter Andre admits fling was a "mistake"
Peter Andre admitted today that the three-month fling he had with a model following his divorce was a "mistake". The singer put his relationship with former model Maddy down to "getting it out of my system" and says he won't sleep with another woman until he meets someone really special. His ex-wife Katie Price is said to be "furious" about the whole thing, telling friends, "He's got this whiter than white image, but he's no saint." Peter did point out that he didn't start anything until after his divorce was finalised - as he always maintained would be the case. Perhaps he decided that telling everyone about his relationship could only lead to bad things, as it clearly did last time. We just hope this Maddy chick hasn't scared Pete off the ladies for good.
Ashley Cole removes his wedding ring "out of respect"
Ashley Cole has taken off his wedding ring as a mark of respect to his estranged wife Cheryl. The Chelsea player (in more ways than one) is still recuperating from an injured ankle in the South of France, but yesterday he was pictured without his ring. Sources claim he's done it to show Cheryl how sorry he is, but he's hoping to be able to put it back on in the future. Cheryl, meanwhile, has admitted she's "petrified" about the prospect of being single after so long with Ashley. It's thought she will soon move out of the couple's Surrey mansion to a new London-based pad close to her Girls Aloud bandmates.
Jude Law in US to meet his daughter
Jude Law is currently in Florida to meet his lovechild Sophia for the first time. Jude fathered the tot with model Samantha Burke following a brief affair over Christmas 2008, when he was in New York filming Sherlock Holmes. He has always promised to support Sophia in whatever way she needs, but has no interest in pursuing a relationship with her mother. When asked if he was nervous about meeting his baby daughter, Jude barked, "It's nothing to do with you." He may have a small point. Samantha Burke - who sold photos of baby Sophia to a magazine not long after she was born - has said before that Jude will fall in love with Sophia "as soon as he sets eyes on her".
"Lazy" Emily Atack booted off the ice
Actress Emily Atack was booted off Dancing On Ice last night after judge Jason Gardiner branded her "lazy". Emily ended up in the skate-off against Daniella Westbrook, despite both stars getting reasonable scores for their routines. Jason told a tearful Emily, "There is just nothing. No emotion. The movements are very lazy." Emily said afterwards that the experience had changed her life and given her "discipline". Do you think the right person went?
