Vernon Kay sends saucy texts to Page 3 girl
Vernon Kay has today admitted that he exchanged a number of saucy text messages with Page 3 girl Rhian Sugden. The married father of two met the 23-year-old blonde model at a club in Bolton and the two began sending each other sexy texts and messages on Twitter. Last night Vernon's spokesman admitted the reports were true, but added, "They never at any point had a physical sexual relationship." Vernon's poor wife Tess - who only gave birth to his second daughter eight months ago - is expected to react with fury to the news, with one friend admitting, "He [Vernon] feels pretty stupid about sending them now and is obviously worried what Tess is going to say. This is the last thing she'll want to hear. It's fair to say, this will go down like a lead balloon." Another source who works closely with Vernon said he was "gobsmacked" by the news because he believed Vernon was "squeaky clean". Oh dear. Why are men such idiots sometimes?
Jacko doctor could face years in jail
Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray was last night charged over his death and told he could face up to four years in jail if convicted. The Jackson family, including Jermaine and LaToya, were in court to hear the charge being read and were vocal in what they described as a "reckless disregard for human life". Dr Conrad Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, the full charge of which states: "[Murray] did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson." The judge last night told Dr Murray he did not want him sedating people ever again. During the hearing it was also revealed for the first time officially that Michael did indeed die from an overdose of Propofol, the powerful drug given to him by Dr Conrad Murray. The trial will begin on 5 April.
