Mel Gibson has been around long enough to know it's probably not a good idea to let your professional guard down around a camera, so there's really no excuse for this embarrassment of a clip. While being interviewed to promote his new film Edge Of Darkness, Mel was asked - not unreasonably - by the host if he thought all the troubles in his recent past had affected fans' opinions of him - and he didn't like it one bit. Watching his arsey response as he dodges the question makes our toes curl up with awkwardness. And as for asshole? Er, sorry Mel, we can't hear you for all the pots and kettles banging together.
