If Nicollette Sheridan thought she was going to get any support from her former Desperate Housewives co-stars, then she was most definitely mistaken. Last week the actress – who played the brilliant Edie on the US show – revealed she wanted to sue the show’s creator Marc Cherry $20million for “assaulting” her and contributing to her exit from the series. However, the remaining ladies on the show – namely Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman – have nothing but praise for Mr Cherry, saying in a collective statement last night: “It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing. We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterise our set as a hostile environment. It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.” Bum-kissers, much?! We imagine the truth in this case will out in the end. What are your thoughts?
