Becks “exhausted” from Posh’s bedroom antics? Ooer!
David Beckham is said to be enjoying a well-earned rest at the moment – but not from the beautiful game. Wife Victoria has been dragging him into the bedroom at every opportunity as the couple try for baby number four. Those close to the couple claim David is “exhausted” after apparently going at it up to five times a day. One explained, “He’s not complaining, but with all the strapping on his foot just getting about is hard enough.” Hard enough? Guffaw. Posh is currently over here in the UK on a business trip, but plans to recommence baby-making duties as soon as she gets back. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for them.
Liam Gallagher is still holding his pathetic grudge
Liam Gallagher still hasn’t forgiven Peter Kay for calling him a k***head on stage at the Brits (even though he clearly is one) and has threatened to “f***ing deck” the comedian next time he sees him. In his usual happy spirit, Liam blasted at Peter, “Talking of knob, have you seen yours lately, you f***ing fat c***? That is one c*** who’d get decked if I saw him on the street, believe you me.” Have you never heard of sticks and stones, Liam? Oh that’s right, you did have some but you threw them all out of your pram…
Darren Day given five-year driving ban
King of the love rats Darren Day was yesterday banned from driving for five years after he crashed his car during a boozy spin. The actor also had his wrist slapped for carrying a Kubotan (it’s a long hard stick apparently, not the gear one), which one police officer referred to as a deadly weapon. Darren made a statement outside court in Edinburgh as he left saying, “I am truly, deeply and sincerely sorry for what I have done.”
Martina: “Breast cancer is my personal 9/11”
Former I’m A Celeb jungle inhabitant and tennis star Martina Navratilova yesterday admitted that her battle with breast cancer is her own “personal 9/11”, but that she’s determined to bounce back. Talking about her diagnosis, Martina admitted, “Physically I could not think or move. I was useless. I have been healthy all my life and all of a sudden I have cancer. Are you kidding me?” The 53-year-old says she found out about the cancer during a routine breast screening – one she had missed for four years in a row. “I let it slide,” she admits. “I didn’t realise it had been four years and I want to encourage women to have yearly check-ups.” Brave Martina says she’s given herself a 90 per cent chance of survival. We applaud her fighting spirit.
