Lying in the park yesterday working (accidentally) on our nice vest-strap tanlines, something felt very different. It was much quieter than usual in the capital because there were NO planes in the air. This volcano dust cloud has really caused some problems – and not just for us regular folk of the world. It turns out that a whole heap of celebs have been stranded or held up by the angry crater, meaning interviews, gigs and appearances are having to be cancelled all over the globe. Katie Price is terrified she’ll be stuck in Egypt for another weekend, Peter Jones is trapped in Barbados (bet he’s really gutted), Adam Lambert and Usher can’t fly into the UK for their scheduled promo tours and even The X Factor’s Joe McElderry is stuck. Whitney Houston had to get a boat over to Ireland, Demi Moore is missing a press junket here in London, Mika’s stranded in Paris and Miley Cyrus won’t be at her Last Song premiere this week. Justin Bieber fans will have to wait to scream at him hysterically while Michael Flatley has been told to pack away his dancing shoes for another few days. It’s madness we tell you! Madness! Have you been affected by the dust cloud? Feel free to give Facebook a break and rant about it here instead.
