Kerry Katona offers herself to Simon Cowell
No, not in that way – although that would be the story of the decade! Kerry Katona has instead offered her services as an X Factor judge in place of the preggers Dannii Minogue, saying it would be the perfect place for her to “relaunch her singing career”. Erm, didn’t she, like, say two lines on one Atomic Kitten single? Anyway, Kerry said of her offer, “I'm waiting for Simon to ask me to join The X Factor. I think I'd be an amazing judge.” Hmmm. Do you to tell her, or should we?
Justin Bieber says he “may” change his hair. Gasp!
His floppy mop is one of many reasons the tween girlies love him so much, but Justin Bieber has warned he may well chop it all off. “I'm kinda liking the long hair right now,” he shrugged, “In the future, I may get bored and change it up, but for now I like how it is.” The Bieber is fast becoming the new “Rachel” over in the States, with teenage boys queuing up to get their hair styled to look like the hugely popular star. We’re just thankful The Brand didn’t take off in the same way...or The Marge Simpson.
Skins to get a US remake on MTV
It’s official, Skins will definitely be remade for an American audience - and MTV has already ordered 10 episodes. Rumblings of a US remake first started way back in August last year, but the deal has only just been made official. Similarly to the hugely popular UK version, the new Skins will be co-written by young talent and star unknown young actors. Rumour is that the pilot will be shot in Baltimore and that, while not as raunchy as its UK counterpart, the series will focus on a number of taboo subjects. We really hope they manage to do it justice.
Trinny and Susannah to make online sitcom
They went from being one of the most-watched TV duos in the UK to being slated by the critics and shunned from our screens, but Trinny and Susannah are now coming back with a new online show. Trinny And Susannah: What They Did Next (sounds familiar) is described as being “funny in places and sad in others”, but overall it is suppose to be entertaining. The programme will air on the website iVillage in 16 six-minute episodes and has been partially funded by shopping centre owner Westfield. Do you still have an appetite for this boob-grabbing pair?
Jamie Hince forms band with Kate Moss
She’s been trying to break into the music business for years, and now it would seem Kate Moss has finally worn down her boyfriend Jamie Hince and persuaded him to help her. The Kills frontman has reportedly formed a new five-piece band featuring our very own Ms Moss, and they’ve already started recording a few tracks. We’ve heard Mossy’s singing voice before on that Robot track and those videos she did with Dirty Doherty, and she’s actually not all that bad. Not all that good, either though…
