Fickle bunch that we are, we’d all but forgotten how much we fancied The X Factor’s Olly Murs and his cheeky wiggle a few months ago. Clearly, however, lots of lots of people still <do> fancy the Essex lad to bits, because they turned up in their thousands to watch him, Danyl Johnson and Stacey Solomon perform at Newbury Racecourse this weekend. Olly described the crowd as “completely different crowd from normal”, with Stacey adding, “Everyone thinks that you are used to playing to millions of people because of The X Factor but that was in front of a few hundred in a studio audience, this is thousands and even though we have played the 02 and Wembley, the atmosphere here as an outdoor gig is unbelievable.” Danyl Johnson was quick to add, “I have just flown in from LA (oooh, get him) and I am really excited about doing some acoustic songs with my guitarist tonight.” They’re all looking a bit more polished these days, aren’t they? And we love the cute dress Stacey’s rocking. Does Olly still do it for you, or have you been baffled by him since the first X Factor audition?
