Lloyd Daniels involved in “horrific” car crash
Poor little Lloyd Daniels had to be taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash. The X Factor star was knocked unconscious in the collision and sustained bruising and whiplash. He’d just dropped off fellow X Factor contestant Lucie Jones at a Tube station when the accident happened last Friday and has since been recovering at home. Lloyd’s mum said today, “We just thank God that it was not much worse. He’s still recovering. He’s got quite bad whiplash, his chest is all bruised and he was in shock. He was really upset.” We almost can’t bear it! And he only passed his driving test five weeks ago. Poor Lloyd – we hope you feel better soon.
Eclipse getting rave reviews already
There have only been a few top-secret screenings of the new Twilight film Eclipse, but already fans of the film are talking about how great it is. One Twilight fan who saw the film at a screening with Oprah Winfrey described it as “the best movie I have ever seen”, telling fellow R-Pattz addicts, “Wish I can talk about the movie but I can't. But you will NOT be disappointed, and the love scenes are f***ing HOT.” Blimey. Another fan said, “Eclipse left me speechless… I couldn't contain myself. Everyone should be GLAD the movie turned out AMAZING.” Sounds rather promising, doesn’t it? Only a month or so to go now, Twilight crew.
Was Joaquin Phoenix’ “breakdown” a hoax?
We all shuddered with genuine dismay when formerly gorgeous actor Joaquin Phoenix grew a Mr Twit beard and started acting crazier than a bucket of frogs on LSD. However, many suspected at the time that his actions were all part of an elaborate hoax masterminded by the actor and his friends, including Casey Affleck. Today the footage from a documentary film made by Casey has emerged and US sources are claiming it depicts Joaquin fooling everyone into thinking he’d gone mad. “I hear the agency and the distributors intend to keep the mock's content under wraps for as long as they can for maximum shock value,” said the source. “Presumably, the film answers Hollywood's bewilderment about whether Joaquin was serious about quitting acting - or whether he was just, well, acting.” What do you think? Did he grow hoax hair or an actual mad beard?
SJP admits “feelings were hurt” on SATC set
The Sex And The City ladies have always denied the long-running rumours of feuds, but today Sarah Jessica Parker has hinted for the first time that all was not always well. “When you're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted,” she said. “There are times when all of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people.” Kim Cattrall then backed her pal up, saying, “The chemistry among the four of us is very strong.” You can imagine it, can’t you? Four very strong women working for weeks on end in very close proximity - of course they had the occasional row. They wouldn’t be human if they didn’t.
