Ashley Cole shocked that Cheryl dumped him
Dumped Chump Ashley Cole has reportedly told friends that he’s shocked by ex-wife Cheryl filing for divorce, because he thought she’d never leave him. The deluded footballer is allegedly in a “foul mood” about the whole situation, with one friend saying, “He thought he was invincible – Cheryl’s proved him wrong.” Ashley told pals that after four years of marriage he didn’t think his wife would walk away and that she’d eventually give him another chance. We’re extremely glad that she proved him wrong. What kind of deluded idiot is this man?! Meanwhile, Cheryl is taking the first steps towards getting her “Mrs C “ tattoo removed from the back of her neck. Bet she regrets that decision with every fibre of her being…
Emma Bunton gets job at GMTV
Emma Bunton and her fiance Jade Jones are being hailed “the possible new Fern and Phil” after they signed up to appear on GMTV. The couple will take over Lorraine Kelly’s current slot for a week while she’s on holiday and sources say if the “chemistry’s right” then they may be offered more permanent roles. Emma Bunton will be given the task of interviewing the celebrity guests while Jade Jones does the cooking in the kitchen. It will be the first time the couple have worked together. How do you think Emma will get on?
Ex-Big Brother winners to come back for new series?
Former Big Brother champs Brian Dowling and Cameron Stout are among a shortlist of 40 hopefuls trying to win a place in the Big Brother house this summer. As we revealed earlier this week, during the launch night of the show on Wednesday 9 June a large number of possible housemates will arrive at Elstree only for Big Brother to then whittle them down to at least half. Only 20 people will go on to become housemates, and Brian and Cameron are hoping they’re two of the lucky (or not so lucky) few. Do we really want old housemates going back in or should there be a rule against such a thing?
Sarah Ferguson signs up for Oprah and Apprentice
It turns out that attempting to sell access to your royal ex-husband can be very good for your career, as Sarah Ferguson found out this week. The duchess has been offered a slot on Oprah Winfrey’s chat show to talk about what happened and Donald Trump has stepped in to persuade her to take part in the US version of The Apprentice. The role would provide Fergie not only with some money (which she clearly needs), but also the chance to redeem herself to the public again. Donald has taken a liking to her and wants to help her get her life back on track. Blimey, it’s like Cocaine Kate Moss all over again…without the illegal substances, obvs.
