Cheryl Cole crushed by fans
Cheryl Cole (Tweedy, whatevs) launched a sweary rant at her security team yesterday after she became trapped and crushed by a group of fans. Cheryl was attempting to walk through the fans who had parked themselves outside her hotel but in the excitement she became stuck and was very frightened. One female fan in particular got right up in Cheryl’s face and grabbed her wrist. Security managed to rescue her, but Cheryl was heard ranting, “What the f*** was that?!” after they all made their way inside. Simon Cowell was on hand to comfort her with a strong drink, but it took a while for the shaken star to calm down. One staff member at the hotel was heard saying, “The judges were supposed to come in the back. If their people had communicated with us properly this wouldn’t have happened.” Ooer, it ain’t easy being Cheryl.
Natalie Imbruglia booed at The X Factor
Natalie Imbruglia became the second X Factor guest judge to be booed by the audience yesterday – with some fans even chanting “one hit wonder” at her during the auditions. The Torn singer turned the audience against her when she failed to put through a 16-year-old boy, branding him “too young”. When the heckling started poor Natalie turned to Simon for help but there wasn’t really much he could do. Geri Halliwell was also booed by the crowd when she appeared as a guest judge last week. Will anyone manage to make it through unscathed?
Gazza was feared dead after car crash
Witnesses have said today that they feared footie legend Paul Gascoigne was dead after the car he was travelling in ploughed into a sign post. The 43-year-old emerged from the wreckage with blood pouring from his head and mouth and was quickly helped onto a stretcher. One onlooker said afterwards, “I thought he might not make it, or even already be dead. There was blood everywhere.” Thankfully the star is now stable in hospital and doctors say he should make a full recovery. It’s thought the woman driving the car when it crashed has been charged with drink-driving.
Robert Pattinson thinks he’ll die at 30
Twilight star Robert Pattinson thinks he’ll only live to be 30, the actor revealed in a new interview. According to Rob, the fact that he’s already achieved so much by such a young age means that he hasn’t got very long to live. “I guess I just thought if too many good things happen, then you're going to die at 30,” he explained. “Yeah, so probably, I'm going to die at 30. Actually, it's God saying, 'Hey, you shouldn't have asked for too much’.” Much as we love Robert, this is a really dickhead thing to say. We’re sure you’ll live to a very old age and still be turning the girls gooey in your 90s, Rob!
