Cheryl collapses with sever exhaustion
Cheryl Cole has been ordered to stay in bed by a doctor after she collapsed at a photoshoot yesterday. The X Factor judge arrived at the shoot looking pale and ill but insisted she would be fine to carry on. The make-up artists worked on her for an hour but as soon as she got under the studio lights she collapsed. Cheryl was only out for a few seconds, but a doctor was quickly summoned and diagnosed severe exhaustion. He has ordered her to stay in bed and have complete rest until further notice. Cheryl will therefore miss the next batch of X Factor auditions plus a number of scheduled shoots and appearances. Her exhaustion has also led her to develop a nasty stomach virus. Busy Cheryl has been working almost non-stop since her split from Chump ex-husband Ashley Cole, and friends say it was only a matter of time until something like this happened. Ronaldo is a daddy!
Well, here's one we really didn't see coming. Cristiano Ronaldo has become a father! The football star announced the news on his personal website yesterday, explaining to fans: "It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become a father to a bay boy. As agreed with the baby's mother, who prefers t have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship." Ronaldo's baby son - thought to be just over a month old - is now on his way to Portugal with the star's sisters where it's thought he will be raised. Ronaldo, 25, has never been a stranger to the ladies - but we wonder whether this was a planned birth? Congratulations to him all the same.
Jedward's Edward rushed to hospital after on-stage tumble
It was drama central over at T4 On The Beach yesterday after Edward (of Jedward) took a nasty tumble on the stage and had to be rushed off to hospital. Last year Peter Andre fell off the same stage and managed to land on his feet - but poor Edward wasn't so lucky. After writhing on the floor in agony, brave Edward limped up and completed the song before struggling off stage. He was given oxygen and taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg. However, it's now thought he has torn ligaments in his leg but no breaks. A worried John went with his brother but returned to the party at Weston-super-Mare a few hours later to reassure everyone that Edward was OK. Watching Edward's little face crumple was like watching a Care Bear get punched in the face. So awful!
Katie Price hired drag queens for her wedding
This weekend Katie Price officially became Mrs Reid - and celebrated by hiring a troupe of drag queens. The reality star had booked the singing act for her own entertainment, but Alex was the one who ended up loving it. The pair wed at St Paul's Church in Woldingham, Surrey and then headed off to a hog-roast marquee reception during which guests were treated to not only a video about Katie and Alex's romance, but also the added treat of Katie singing I Will Always Love You from inside a giant shoe. Yes, really. We're gutted we missed it. Oh, but we can watch it all on TV soon, can't we?
