Proud new dad Cristiano Ronaldo has given his baby son exactly the same name as him, it was reported today. The footie star's new arrival is said to look exactly like his famous dad, with the same eyes and features. It's now widely thought that Ronaldo carefully hand-picked a surrogate mother because he was so keen to have a child - and that he paid said surrogate £10million for her trouble. Baby Cristiano is currently being cared for by the star's mum and sister in Portugal while he holidays in the States with his model girlfriend Irina Shayk. His sister said yesterday, "The baby is doing very well. Cristiano chose the name but we like it. We're very happy about what Cristiano has done." This is going to be one spoilt baby...
Jennifer Saunders has beaten breast cancer
British comedian Jennifer Saunders has beaten a eight-month battle with breast cancer, it was revealed today. The 52-year-old had kept the details of her condition private since she was diagnosed last October, but friends say she's now on the road to full recovery. Jennifer discovered a lump in her breast and thankfully went along to get it checked immediately, meaning that the cancer was caught in the very early stages. Friends say she remained "positive and strong" throughout the treatment. We're so glad to hear she has the all clear.
Peter Andre collapses with chest pains
Peter Andre was taken to hospital this week after collapsing with agonising chest pains. The singer was out jogging when the pain struck and caused him to double over in agony. The terrified star thought he might have suffered a heart attack, but thankfully the pain was down to a muscle injury. His friend last night explained, "It's not serious, but the pain is immense." Poor Pete, and he'd only just got rid of the other massive pain in his life, too...
Alan Carr brands Lily Allen a "f***ing bitch"
Alan Carr yesterday blasted Lily Allen for failing to appear on his chat show, saying she was a "f***ing bitch" for leaving him in the lurch. The star was due to appear on both Alan's chat show and Scott Mills' Radio 1 show, but pulled out just hours before claiming she was ill. Alan was so angry he took it personally, saying afterwards, "I don't know if it's a vendetta, I don't know whether she hates me, but the way I'm buzzing now I could f***ing slap her!" Calm down now, Alan. Luckily JLS stepped in to take her place at the last minute. This latest "illness" claim has led to even more speculation that Lily is pregnant, but it has so far been denied.
