Jedward have allegedly made friends with talented English football hulk Wayne Rooney. The X Factor twins were in London on the weekend to promote their new album and approached Wayne after spotting him in a hotel.
"The boys were staying in the Mayfair Hotel on Sunday and Rooney was there with his manager. They got talking and ended up hanging out all night," a source said. "The boys were just drinking water, though.”
Water, hey? Whatever you say (wink, wink). Wayne must have been bowled over by the boys’ luminous conversation as he reportedly offered them the use of his private box at Old Trafford whenever they wanted it. In return Jedward promised Wayne a spot on their ITV2 show. Talk about the short straw.
Wayne is a patient man however, and was apparently happy to humour the twins as they babbled relentlessly at him for hours and hours and hours. “He was really good with the boys,” said the source. “He chatted to them all night.” Bless him. It’s like when you spend half a day talking to your demented, racist, incontinent gran to make your mum happy. It’s selfless.
