Greatest film franchise of all time to be revived?

Are you under the age of 21? If so, then move on. There is nothing for you here.

Everyone else: Keanu Reeves has revealed that he’s pulling out all the stops, trying to get a new Bill & Ted movie made. Taking some time out from his busy schedule Keanu told an interviewer that he’s basically desperate to reunite with Alex Winters and writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

"To me, I'd love to play the role,” he said. “I'd love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again. We'll see what they do. I'm meeting people now - they've shown the film to their kids. We just seek to entertain.”

So noble. Keanu also joked that he’d want super-serious, depressive German filmmaker Werner Herzog to be the director. See, Keanu can do highbrow! In your face James Franco.

Still, no word on whether Winter (aka Bill) would be able to find the time to commit fully to the project. Cleaning out the fat fryers at Burger King is a full-time job.

Surely Star Wars would claim "Greatest film franchise of all time" before Bill & Ted got anywere near the podium?

Why does everyone take what heatworld writes so seriously. I'm pretty sure most of this is just them being a bit silly, not serious.

I suggest Heat that you get your facts straight first. Alex Winter is a big producer for (as stated earlier) the Ben 10 films. Though he mainly does Music Videos and Commercials. Bit of a difference from Burger King me thinks?
