A retired New York fireman named Robert Linhart was arrested on Tuesday for hanging around Madonna’s Manhattan apartment carrying an ice pick. As you would expect, he claimed to be “her biggest fan”. The guy initially tried to resist arrest but eventually cooperated with police.
"I won't stop until I actually meet Madonna," he told cops after being arrested. “I am going to go right back there and do it again."
Linhart had also begun spray-painting signs onto the pavement in a bid to get the star's attention. One read: “M, the Universe brought us together in 1992 and again this year in Prague. Meet me please XXX."
Asked if she was scared that a deranged man with a 7.5 inch ice pick had broken into her home, Madonna said “no”. Hard as nails, that one.
