Wayne Rooney was last night said to be "fighting to save his marriage" after the News Of The World revealed he'd paid another woman for sex. Prostitute Jenny Thompson told the paper that she enjoyed a threesome with the footballer and her pal and then went on to meet up with regularly over a number of months while Coleen was expecting baby Kai. She claims Wayne paid between £500-£1,200 cash each time they met and even invited the brunette to his and Coleen's home when she was away. It was reported last night that Wayne might pull out of a scheduled England match on Tuesday to spend time with his no-doubt raging wife, but it's since been confirmed that he will travel over to Switzerland with the rest of the squad. Cheryl Cole has opened up about her divorce for the first time and says she's feels utterly betrayed by Ashley. Cheryl admitted to Vogue that she was glad the couple had never had children, because that would have made the split much more difficult. "Of course, it is heartbreaking, but it’s not anything remotely like it could have been and I’m very, very thankful for that," she says. "I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished." Many sources close to Cheryl are hinting that she may soon go public with Derek Hough as her divorce is now finalised. Watch this space...
Kanye West has written an apology song for Taylor Swift
We'd all forgotten about Kanye West being a total goon and insulting Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, but Kanye clearly hasn't. This weekend he revealed that he'd written Taylor a song to say sorry, writing on his Twitter page, "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her. She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. Who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down…TAYLOR LOVES RAP MUSIC...I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC...I'm sorry Taylor." Blimey, when he's contrite he sure is contrite. Paris to escape cocaine charge over failed blood test
Paris Hilton could escape a jail term because the police who caught her with cocaine in her handbag failed to give her a blood test. The heiress claims that the bag she was carrying belonged to someone else, and due to the police officers' faliure to administer a test there is no evidence that she took the drug. Paris herself denies all the charges, ranting on Twitter last week, "These rumors (sic) going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel. I'm not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth."
