Emma Watson is the best dressed woman in Britain
Or at least that's according to Glamour. The magazine's online poll decided that the Harry Potter actress is the UK's 2010's best dressed female celebrity, beating out more experienced fashionistas like Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss. Other names that featured at the top of the list include Sienna Miller, Cheryl Cole and Keira Knightly. Over on the men's list Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson grabbed the number one spot. But that's less interesting.
Mark Ronson receives death-threats from Smiths fans
Mark Ronson, the producer-performer responsible for the maddeningly catchy Bike Song, has revealed that he has received death threats. But these are no ordinary death threats. They're sent by irate Smiths fans, furious that Ronson has covered a song by their favourite long-dead Mancunian indie band. "I do like the fact that a 16-year-old cares enough to send me a MySpace death threat," said Ronson "As long as he doesn't follow through on it."
Gordon Ramsay addresses suicide
Sweary cook Gordon Ramsay has expressed sadness at the suicide of a chef who appeared on his Kitchen Nightmares television programme. Joe Cerniglia appeared on the show in 2007, admitting on air that his Italian restaurant had left him $80,000 in debt. "I was fortunate to spend time with Joe during the first season of Kitchen Nightmares," Ramsay said. "Joe was a brilliant chef, and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and staff."
New series of Apprentice is serious business
Alan Sugar has reassured viewers that the new series of The Apprentice only features contestants who are serious about the world of business. The Lord guarantees that any would-be fame whores have been weeded out. "I'm really interested in having contenders there who are potentially good business people," he said. "Generally speaking [contestants only interested in being on television] are out of the process - I can spot them a mile off, really." We hope this doesn't mean the programme's lost its funny-side. Nothing brightens up reality television like a deluded maniac who wants to be famous.
