How about some nice baby news to warm your cockles on a chilly Sunday afternoon?
Canadian pop diva Celine Dion has welcomed twin boys into the world. 42-year-old Celine and her husband conceived the twins after five IVF attempts, and she’d previously spoken about how hard it has been to get pregnant again, "I never gave up. But I can tell you that it was physically and mentally exhausting."
No news on names as yet, but a statement has been released to People.com, "Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up.” The boys were born by C-section, and weighed in at 5lbs, 4oz and 5lbs 10z. As they are slightly premature – they were born at 33 weeks – the newborns will be kept in hospital for a few days. The couple already have 9 year-old son Rene-Charles, who is excited to meet his new brothers, "René-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers, and is just so excited they are here," said a spokesperson.
