Boy George sends George Michael message of support
Aside from both being 80s pop icons and having George in their name, George Michael and Boy George also have prison in common. Boy George told radio station Magic 105.4 that he has sent a letter of support to George Michael while he was in jail. “I’ve written to him. I send him my love and I understand exactly what he’s going through. When I heard the news, it really brought it all back to me. I was actually quite sad because I really was hoping that it wouldn’t happen. Hopefully he’ll come through it stronger.” Well that’s nice, isn’t it?
Jackiey Budden broke again?
Jade Goody’s mum is totally broke, and it doesn’t look like Jackiey Budden is all that worried about it. “Money is there to spend and that’s what I did. From all the money I’ve earned and from what Jade gave me from I’m A Celebrity (sic) and whatever. Anything can happen to anyone and money is there to spend and that’s what I did. I was not on drugs or anything like that in them times.” Jackiey – who suffered injuries from a motorcycle accident years back – is now apparently claiming £91 a week in benefits.
Mika’s sister impaled on railing
This is a bizarre, but very sad story – the sister of pop star Mika is seriously ill after falling from her home and landing on some railings. Paloma Penniman fell 50 feet from a window-ledge at her home and impaled both her legs and her abdomen, she had to be cut free by fire fighters before being rushed to hospital. A source close to Mika has told The Sun, “To say he's traumatised by this doesn't even come close. It's the stuff of nightmares. Paloma had surgery today on her abdomen and legs - but she is critically ill. Mika is out of his mind with worry. No one really knows what happened. One minute Paloma was sitting on the window-ledge, the next she had fallen on to the railings.”
