The I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! line-up has reportedly been revealed early this year, with ITV bosses desperate to prove to viewers that they have a fantastic star-studded cast list after last year’s show turned into a Katie Price watch-a-thon that had viewers grumbling, and looking for the TV remote…
As we reported yesterday, 68-year-old Bond girl Britt Ekland has already landed in Australia, and other stars previously rumoured to be heading to the I’m A Celebrity jungle have also been confirmed, including Nigel Havers, Gail Porter and Stacey Solomon, but there are a few surprises – not least, that funnyman Dom Joly will be heading Down Under or that Happy Mondays hell-raiser Shaun Ryder will also be joining them!
The full reported I’m A Celebrity list of 12 contestants reads as follows:
Alison Hammond – Big Brother reject turned This Morning TV presenter
Aggro Santos – who? Rapper. Ahem.
Britt Ekland – ex Bond girl… Swedish. Was once married to Peter Sellers
Dom Joly – comedian famous for Trigger Happy TV
Gail Porter – baldy-now-hairy TV presenter
Gillian McKeith – sour-faced health expert and sometime pooh-fiddler
Lembit Opik – former MP, former Cheeky Girl boyfriend, serial lady-botherer
Linford Christie – former 100m Olympic champ, affectionately known as ‘The Lunchbox’
Nigel Havers – smooth-talking actor. Nice hair. Now in Corrie.
Shaun Ryder – potty-mouthed indie bad lad, and Happy Mondays frontman
Sheryl Gascoigne – Former WAG, once married and beaten-up by Gazza
Stacey Solomon – came third on last year’s X Factor. Innit.
So, what do you think of the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! line-up? Happy with who we’ll be watching in the jungle this year?!
