The Huqster’s bombshell came as she joked that Aiden Grimshaw’s hair was now so long that he should be having a measure off against the Jeward twins, and that that could only take place if, “they weren’t in the jungle.”
D’oh! I’m A Celebrity bosses will be furious at Konnie Huq ruining their surprise – if indeed her slip really was correct. Given that the I’m A Celebrity rumours in the last month included one that Jedward had signed up to the show, for as little as £10,000 each, then it seems highly likely that they really are heading down under to take part. If they’re not already there, that is!
One person who’ll be glad to see them will be Gillian McKeith. As she proved tonight, the TV nutritionist was utterly terrified, of everything, and practically stuck both hands in the air shouting ‘PICK ME!!!’ to the watching bushtucker trial voters. The I’m A Celebrity voters duly obliged, and she’ll be up against Lembit Opik in Monday night’s episode.
Just us, or did Lembit seem a little bit teary to have been picked by the public? He’s certainly been getting a rough ride from smooth-talking luvvie, Nigel Havers, but it's a bit early for the waterworks isn't it? Man-up, Lembit!
