Katie Waissel’s Gran: “I’m proud to be a prostitute”
The grandmother of X Factor contestant Katie Wassiel has spoken out about her life of vice, admitting that she’s a prostitute because she loves sex. 81-year-old Sheila Vogel-Coupe told The Sun, “I love what I do. I love sex. I’m proud to be a prostitute.” In a statement yesterday Katie’s sister Natalie said, “We were completely shocked and devastated to hear the news that my grandmother has been conducted amoral activities.... We, as a family disassociate ourselves wholly.” Sheila also said how she’s hurt by her family’s decision to disown her, “Love from a family should be unconditional, not affected by something like this,” she said. All we can say is, we actually feel really sorry Katie, having to deal with revelations like this must be hard enough, but having to do it in public must be even harder.
Lisa Snowdon has meningitis
Model and radio host Lisa Snowdown has been admitted to hospital with meningitis. The Capital Radio breakfast show presenter had been complaining of severe headaches, exhaustion and fainting spells, when she was taken in and tests revealed she has viral meningitis, which luckily is not as serious as the bacterial form. A source revealed, “It all happened very quickly, Lisa started to feel poorly when she turned on the Bond Street Christmas lights. She works incredibly hard and has a very busy career, but right now her health must come first.” We hope you feel better soon, Lisa.
Tina Knowles: Beyonce and Jay-Z will be “great parents”
Don’t get all excited, Beyonce isn’t pregnant. Boo. Her mum’s just saying that if and when Beyonce gets pregnant, she and husband Jay-Z will make excellent parents. "They're good people and they're really positive and they're talented and they've had a lot of practice with my grandson – their nephew,” Tina told People magazine in the US. “I know they're going to make great parents. Beyoncé is very caring and patient and loving, so I know she'll be a great mom." Aww, well that’s nice, isn’t it?
