A date for your diary… January 4th. That’s when the 2011 Britain’s Got Talent auditions kick off, in London, don’t’cha know!
And, as we already know, joining Amanda Holden on the judging panel for the new series will be Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and funnyman Michael McIntyre – thanks to the fact that Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan have found themselves some other things to do over in the States. Very well paid things too, by all accounts. Piers has landed himself a £5.5million deal to replace US talk show host Larry King, for starters.
Buuuuut… in an exciting development, it looks as though we’re going to see a few more judges joining the panel throughout the Britain’s Got Talent season – including the likes of feisty Sharon Osbourne and former Blind Date host, Cilla Black!
An insider on the show has been reported as stating that: "Simon saw how bringing new people on board on The X Factor last summer, like Nicole Scherzinger and Geri Halliwell, really gave the show a lift. Now he wants to do the same on Britain's Got Talent. Viewers will already see two new faces on the panel - The Hoff and Michael."
Ooooh, this could be a truly amazing bit of news. Who would you choose to join the celebrity judging panel for a show? Louie Spence, perhaps? Or how about someone a bit more controversial, like Jedward?! Or, how about a member of the royal family? Let us know who you’d have in the comments below!
