Wow! Is that really former GMTV presenter Clare Nasir on the right of the picture? Yessir... the 40-year-old star has lost a staggering 3 stone in weight since she gave birth to her first child in November 2009!
Better still, she's now released the obligatory fitness DVD, just in time for Christmas, to tell you that you can do the same if you're willing to work as hard as she did, and give you an exercise plan to follow.
Now to be found presenting the weather on London Tonight, exercise-loving Clare Nasir tipped the scales at a 12st 7lb (she's 5ft tall...) immediately after giving birth, and was still 10st 4lb when she was infamously snapped in that lime green two-piece trying to ditch her mummy tummy with her personal trainer.
'Seeing pictures of yourself looking like a lime green blob is a pretty good incentive to lose weight,' she says, 'I wanted to lose it quickly - as well as safely - and after four months and lots of sweat, I’ve lost nearly 3 stone in weight and an amazing 12 inches off my belly alone.'
The secret to shifting the pounds has been a combination of exercise and diet, she claims. 'Boxers in training burn around 8,000 calories a day, and with this combat style workout we calculate you’ll burn up to 1,000 calories every time you do it. That combined with our amazing 5-meals-a-day diet will help you drop weight fast. If you follow the routine 3-4 times a week with the diet you could lose up 4lbs a week, which is incredible.'And at a slimline size six, and 8stones, it's difficult to disagree. Well done Clare.
