There are a lot of things we at heatworld associate with divorce: crying, getting a new hairdo, prenups, lawyers. We never suspected that divorce makes a woman more desirable, but maybe that’s because we don’t hang out with serial womaniser John Mayer.
Recent reports claim that the flirt-o-matic singer has his roving eye on none other than newly single Eva Longoria, who’s still smarting from her recent split from sporty ex Tony Parker. According to Pop Eater, a friend of the singer’s has revealed, "John is crazy about Eva. There is something about newly-divorced ladies that drives him nuts. He was the same way over Jessica [Simpson] when she left Nick [Lachey], and now he has his eye on Eva." Is it just us or is there something slightly creepy about that?
The Latina bombshell seems to be holding out against his attentions quite well; the friend adds, "No way is Eva thinking of another man right now. Mayer can send all the flowers in the world and even show up under her window with his guitar and it would make no difference. Eva wants some alone time. She is still heartbroken about her marriage falling apart."
It would be quite refreshing for a glossy Hollywood star to end a marriage without diving straight into a new relationship (are you listening Christina Aguilera?!), and we reckon the last thing Eva needs is the super smooth Mr Mayer putting his moves on her. Not that we’d complain if he brought them over here, mind.
