Matt Cardle: The X Factor saved me
X Factor champ Matt Cardle has been speaking (seemingly non-stop) about his victory, and he’s revealed that the talent contest has done more for him than just launch his music career, it has saved him. During a chat with The Sun, Matt has spoken about his wasted youth drinking and experimenting with drugs, “I was a rebel, drifting about having a laugh and drink with mates. I never went mental but I was stupid.” It was Matt’s supportive family urging him to make something of his life that lead to him auditioning for The X Factor, “They wanted to see something happen in my life. They thought if I was serious about wanting to be a singer I should put some real effort into it. Then The X Factor came along. Entering it changed my life. It’s saved me in a way.”
Ronan Keating's marriage back on track
Ronan Keating made a rare public appearance with his wife over the weekend, and it seems the Boyzone star and wife Yvonne, have their marriage back on track. Ronan and Yvonne’s relationship was rocked earlier this year when it was revealed that Ronan had cheated with a backing dancer, leading to a temporary break up. Speaking about his wife at a charity ball for the Marie Keating Foundation Ronan gushed; “I just want to thank my wonderful wife for being here with me tonight, she means the world to me.” The Boyzone star proved is well and truly back in there with his family as he revealed his Christmas plans, “I’ll be spending Christmas with my family, and I can’t wait. We’re planning to move into our new home this week just in time. We’ve designed and built it ourselves.
Corrie star asked for DNA test to prove he’s the daddy
Coronation Street bad boy Jack P Shepherd will be asked for a DNA test to prove he’s fathered a child after a one night stand. You may remember a few months back that Sammy Milewski had a fling with the actor, for which he later apologised to his long term girlfriend, their daughter and his ITV bosses for. Now Miss Milewski wants a paternity test to prove Jack is the daddy, “ I haven’t been with anyone since Jack. But I will do the DNA test as it’s horrible that people think I would lie. I’ve prepared myself for not having him around. But I won’t ever stop him from being a part of my baby’s life.”
