Pamela Anderson doesn’t like Liverpool
The 43-year-old Baywatch star didn’t enjoy her stay at the Hilton hotel in Liverpool for three-weeks whilst starring in Aladdin.
A source told the Daily Star that the former Playboy pinup complained constantly throughout her trip.
"Pamela didn't enjoy her stay in Liverpool very much. Despite staying in the Presidential Suite and having people run around after her.
"She complained because there was no-one about to cook food for her at 3am over the Christmas period. She didn't want to have to wait, not even 15 minutes.”
At first we thought this was outrageous but then we would have loved to have had someone on stand-by to cook for us at 3am over the Christmas period. It wasn’t that the Hilton was her only option, the source revealed more:
"She snubbed the posh Hope Street boutique hotel, where mega-stars Lady Gaga and Pink usually stay, but diva Pam said the penthouse suite was too small to suit her needs.”
If it’s good enough for Gaga it’s good enough for anyone. That’s what our mums always say, or at least they would if they knew who Lady Gaga was.
"Pamela was desperate to stay at the Beatles-themed Hard Days Night Hotel but was told bosses at the Empire Theatre, who were paying for her stay, couldn't quite stretch to the £900-a-night penthouse suite."
£900 a night? We’d expect a live gig from the Beatles (including the dead ones) every night for that sort of money.
The musician who wrote Baker Street, Gerry Raffery dies aged 63
The man behind the iconic songs like Baker Street and Stuck In The Middle With You (while in the band Stealers Wheel) passed away last night in his home.
Gerry was a massively successful musician (his album City to City sold 5.5 million copies) who battled with alcoholism for more than 20 years.
If you think you don’t know his work listen to Baker Street. We bet you a cup of tea that you recognise it after 30 seconds and spend the rest of the day humming it.
Charlotte Church always gets her man
The singer told Esquire magazine that she doesn’t often have men hitting on her but that she doesn’t mind because she has moves of her own.
“I’ve never been chatted up. I don’t mind because I’m more of a chaser. I’m sure there’ll come a time when a man will stump me but I’ve never failed yet.”
I think Charlotte has a duty to explain her techniques to the women of Britain, especially with the dreaded ‘V day’ just over a month away.
