We had no idea that the boys in The Wanted were quite so sensitive. In fact they’re so emotional that one member of the band celebrated getting to Number One with their single All Time Low by crying for 26 minutes.
The lads joined Rick Edwards for a chat and a game of bowling on new 4Music show Stars And Strikes (28 Dec at 12pm), when they made this slightly embarrassing revelation.
In fact the boys confessed that they all got a bit weepy when they topped the charts for the first time, but Tom explained that Max was “crying for 26 minutes.” Wow, that is a very specific length of time... Not 25 minutes, not 30 minutes, 26 minutes. We can only assume that Tom and the rest of the band had a stopwatch. Max then admitted to the tears saying, “26 minutes would be putting it lightly.”Awww, bless his little cotton socks.
The Wanted also told Rick what they’d like Santa to leave them in their Christmas stockings. Siva just wants some quality time with his family, “ think it would have to be a plane-shaped stocking with my family flying over from Dublin. I don’t know if it’ll happen, but that’s the hope!”
While Jay revealed he wants a gift for his beloved pet, “An eight foot reptile tank for my pet lizard Tia.”
See? We told you those Wanted boys were sensitive types.
