In documents dated 30th December 2010, Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry has filed for joint custody of their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Nahla.
Apparently, in most States across America, the father’s rights aren’t protected unless the couple were married, so Gabriel is simply making sure nobody can stop him from spending time with his daughter.
But why would he feel the need to do that when things have always seemed peachy between the former couple? Just the other month they were spotted enjoying a cosy family day out in London.
Well, it turns out that things have recently turned ugly between the ex-lovebirds and they’re now said to be at war.
A source close to Aubry explains that Halle reportedly hit the roof when she saw pictures of her ex enjoying a date with reality TV babe Kim Kardashian.
“Halle was absolutely furious and had a complete melt-down. She basically gave him an ultimatum - to choose between dating other women and carrying on being on her good side.
“She was particularly angry that he had been so public, even going to a Lakers game one time, and she totally berated him, basically telling him that if he has to date, just date a nobody waitress that nobody will care about.”
But wait, isn’t Halle dating hunky male model Olivier Martinez? AKA Kylie Minogue’s ex? So isn’t it a bit cheeky for her to have a go at Gabriel?
Well he thought the same and when he suggested as much she allegedly said her relationship with Olivier was just for ‘business purposes’ - Hmmmm.
Now, now children, play nicely.
